Do you take requests?

Yes, and we play them! We bring thousands of songs to each event. Your special requests are important to us. That is why we discuss them with you in advance.

Do you take breaks?

No. Breaks are not taken unless specified by the client. Segurs' Entertainment provides continuous music unless an announcement is being made on the microphone.

Do you play from a per-programmed play list?

No. The music played at each event is generated 2 ways. Requests - Clients and guest are always welcome to request music. Reading the Crowd - This is where the DJ plays a variety of music based on certain guest criteria including the most common one, age. When the DJ feels he has "read the crowd" and found what they like, he customizes the music selections accordingly.

Will you set up your equipment before my guests arrive?

Absolutely! There is NO additional charge for this. This is just another way that Sound Productions fulfills its commitment to professionalism. In our opinion, it looks "tacky" having you and your guests watch the set-up process. How many times do you go to a concert and see them setting up the equipment as you wait for the show to begin? We will coordinate the set-up time with the banquet facility.

How will my DJ and MC be dressed at my event?

You decide! The Planning Guides on this website allow you to choose how you would prefer your DJ and MC to be dressed. Whatever you choose, you can be assured that it will be tasteful and professional. The following attire descriptions should help in making your decision: Formal - Full tuxedo Semi-formal - Shirt and tie with dress slacks Business Casual - Polo and slacks Casual - Polo/T-shirt and jeans/shorts

How much is the deposit?

To reserve your date, Sound Productions requires 20% of the total package cost. A minimum of $100.00 is required.

Is the deposit refundable?

Deposit is a minimum of $50.00 up-front to 20% of the total package cost.

When is the balance due?

The balance is due 24-hours before your contracted event date

Do you have references?

Yes. We can provide you with a list of satisfied clients as well as industry professionals (banquet managers, photographers, wedding consultants, etc.). If you have any additional questions, please contact us!
